Continue to
grow,
with an eye
for the
future

At Bryte, we believe in a world where people and nature can flourish. A world in which technology, innovation and highly productive agriculture are not opposed to sustainability, but are instead the driving force behind it.

We want to show that you can produce more with fewer resources. That smart systems can provide space for nature recovery. And that prosperity and sustainability can go hand in hand.

We stand for international cooperation, not withdrawal. For progress, not for stagnation. Because as the first generation that can make both humanity and the planet prosper, we seize that opportunity with both hands.

Our view of the world is strengthened in part by the following core values:

Core values

🔓 Autonomy

Innovations such as mechanization and smart cultivation systems have reduced heavy labor and created space for personal development, growth and entrepreneurship. Where once many hands were needed, we now create space for people to use their talents. Because ultimately, autonomy, the control over your own life, is the basis of true well-being. And that starts with an environment where technology serves people.

🌍 Trust in man as strength

We do not see humans as threats to the planet, but as sources of solutions. Our creativity and sense of responsibility make a real difference. And we see that reflected:

  • Agricultural nitrogen emissions have dropped 40% since 1970
  • Pesticides are used less and less harmful
  • The otter and lynx return to Europe – nature restoration works

The future does not require fewer people, but more confidence in what we can do together.

🌞 Optimism moves us forward

Pessimism slows down. Hope sets in motion. We believe in a world that has already become much better – and can become even better.

  • Global infant mortality rate dropped from 40% to 2.7%
  • Energy transition is underway: warming now estimated at 3 degrees instead of 6

As Hannah Ritchie says, “The world is terrible, the world is much better, and the world can be much better.”

🚀 Decisiveness

Progress requires guts. Not all is certain, but sitting still doesn’t help anyone. One example? Golden Rice, a type of rice that can combat vitamin A deficiency, was blocked for years. Sometimes caution actually brings harm.
At Bryte, we believe in decisiveness; dare to innovate!

🌐 Connectedness

An open, globalized world is essential for sustainability. International trade and cooperation enable efficient food production and promote peace.

  • International trade helps reduce poverty
  • Tolerance grows globally through increased interconnectedness

🔎 Transparency

Transparency is not a trend, but a necessity. People want to know where their food comes from, and rightly so.

From greenhouse to plate, from plant to product: we like to show how we work. This is how we make sustainability visible, measurable and better.

💶 Affordability

Healthy, sustainable food should be accessible to everyone. Thanks to efficient cultivation, this is possible.

  • Since the 1960s, the price of tomatoes has fallen by over 80% (adjusted for inflation)
  • Whereas a kilo of tomatoes cost 0.3-0.5% of the monthly income in the 1960s, it is now only 0.06-0.09%

“Bryte emphasizes the importance of the First Sustainable Generation; we are the First Sustainable Generation.

A generation that believes in progress, connection and responsibility.”
